Why this exists

Navigating a career tied to a school calendar has a rhythm. It’s full. Fast moving. Often inflexible. One thing that is looked past, is its ability to quietly take up more space than you meant it to.

This space was created to identify what it is that makes me feel whole. What genuine light brightens my eyes and smile as I talk about it.

Travel became part of that shift.

Not by doing less on my trips.
But by planning better.

I realized the difference wasn’t the destination. It was the systems behind it.

Thoughtful structure before a trip.
A steady rhythm during it.
Returning home without feeling completely drained.

Desk to Destination is where I share the systems that have worked for me. So even with my school calendar always reflecting back at me, there’s room to travel well.

I recently heard a saying, “ Enjoy the smaller moments. That is where life is lived.”

This piqued my interest in grabbing hold of my life and identity again. And if it piqued yours, you’re in the right place.
